The Auction House hours are Thursday through Monday 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday. If you’re new to “The Auction House”, pick up your permanent Bidder Number at the desk when you come in to enter your initial bids. Then, on the second Sunday of each month plan to attend the Live Closing conducted by Jack Hamblin, Auctioneer, as the audience continues the bidding process on any given lot, or allows it to be struck down to the highest previously recorded bid. Unlike the live Estate Auctions at Jack Hamblin Auctions (traditional oral calling), this is a silent auction, closed in sections. The entire closing of about 1,000 +/- lots takes under 2 hours, and there are sure to be many great bargains to be had! A NEW FEATURE is the “BUY IT NOW”items, which can be purchased outright in advance of the auction. Look for items with the “BUY IT NOW” red tag! Refreshments available. Restrooms on premises. The Castle Inn, which includes The Auction House, is minutes off the Interstate 80 Delaware River Bridge, situated on the left-hand side of PA 611 (headed South) in Delaware Water Gap at 49 Waring Drive (opposite of The Deerhead Inn). Can’t make the Closing? Just call for Absentee Bidding information. Terms: 10% Buyer Premium, 6% PA State Tax on all lots (excepting Numismatic items).
